Alongside working in psychological services, I have been involved in providing pastoral support in my local church and community for the last 14 years.
I believe that religion and spirituality is an integral part of human existence. So, I can support clients who are interested in incorporating these into their treatment.
My research area relates to religion/spirituality and psychology and its role in mental health recovery. This is my area of speciality and I will continue to be involved with the writing and dissemination of research in this area.
I am a Chartered Member of The British Psychological Society and an accredited member of the Health and Care Professions Council. I am committed to the codes of ethics for both societies and adhere to their professional standards and practices..
